Andre Magaña (b. 1992, California) is a sculptor based in New York City. His work addresses the outputs of contemporary industrial production, and the commodification of basic necessities. He is interested in how these material enterprises define geopolitical power relationships.

Magaña often focuses on the US/Mexico border as the site of post-industrial inequality. He considers the politics of labor and consumption through careful presentation of readymade and industrially fabricated objects.
